Adam Janus is a junior Trumpet Performance major in the UMD School of Music. He is working very hard this year to connect the SGA to students on and off campus through outreach efforts such as polling. In his free time, Adam enjoys spending countless hours in CSPAC practice rooms, talking about the importance of the arts and arts education, and rooting for the Washington Nationals (Let Teddy Win!). Feel encouraged to contact him at anytime, including right now.
Kate Sylvester is a sophomore pursuing a double degree in Communication and Government and Politics. She is from Connecticut, but couldn't be happier to be here at Maryland. She is also pursuing a Music Performance minor for clarinet and is a member of the College Park Scholars Arts Program. She is also actively involved in many of the university's performing ensembles, including the Mighty Sound of Maryland Marching Band, the University of Maryland Wind Orchestra and Pep Band. She is excited to be representing the ARHU community this year, and is looking forward to a great first year in SGA!
